Hi, I’m Aaron.

In May 2024 I decided to take a sabbatical to solo travel the world. I visited a variety of countries across Africa, South America, Oceania and Asia and travelled in a variety of styles – from completely solo,  with friends, hostel hopping and group tours.

I’m writing this blog for a few reasons. I get asked a lot about how I planned my travels, particularly for the big ticket items like Galapagos, Patagonia, safaris, Easter island. It’s also a great opportunity for me to relive my travels by writing about the experiences.
